Artist Statement

Water as
witness

(Water) as an invocation to the force of beauty. Seventy-one percent of the Earth's surface is covered by water. Our human body is largely made up of water. This parallel resonance is both stunning and peculiar.

There is a rhythm to the ocean that asks for patience and slowness and feeling. To flow in the quiet and exhilarations of our existence.

Film grain renders the sensorial nature of water – its coolness, its warmth, its vastness. The tonal range of this collection moves from cool blues to warm golds, complementing both neutral and saturated spaces. Limited-edition archival prints create the essence of water in any space.
